Welcome to Wonderland - 2016
A modern adaption of Alice in Wonderland set in a run-down vaudeville carnival! Written by Sonia Norris and Treasa Nealon, who also co-founded The Rabbit’s Riot Theatre this year, to create thought-provoking & emotive theatre, using old & new writing. This was supported by Upstart! – a Glens Centre project supporting young writers.

Our Generation: 10 Tiny Plays by 10 Writers - 2016
In an age of Brexit & Beyoncé, terrorism & Tinder, 'Our Generation', was a collection of 15 diverse & exciting tiny plays by 15 playwrights.

There are 1,700 souls in Ballyford, Leitrim, and each one is as nosey as the last. Aisling is pretty sure her grandmother can sniff sin off of a dead cat and that she'll be ostracised from Leitrim if it was discovered that she had premarital sex, let alone the 'A' word that must not be named.

In this brave new world of the internet, where we communicate through emoji’s and where misinformation is spread like a viral disease, when do we draw the line?
Fake news is absorbed daily. Faces hide behind usernames of anonymity to abuse and bully. Anyone can become a victim.
#BraveNewWorld was a verbatim, multi-media and interactive production about the internet and its dark-side.

Seamie would rather down a litre of paint-stripper then do yoga or talk about his feelings. But then the new Senior Men's coach Kev returns home from Down Under (with a shite tan and a bird from Carlow). Before long Kev is adding mindfulness alongside lunges to the Senior Men’s training sessions and suddenly Seamie’s binge-drinking & fist-fighting methods of communication are put to the test…

Cinderella: Keep Your Eye on the Ball - 2018
Cinderella's Stepmother Evie has been the secretary of the Glencar Manor football committee for the past 13 years. Evie has been fundraising to fix the constant leak in the ladies changing room since she first got the role and if she happens to take month long cruises when she should be calling the plumber, well that is none of your business now is it?
Cinderella longs to play on the field but is stuck being the water girl for her stepsisters who are the best players in the county* and watching longingly from afar as Chris Charming, captain of the senior men, trains with his team. Things come to ahead at the fancy dress fundraiser fun football extravagnza where Cinderella's life is changed forever.
*Evie has bribed myself, the entire community of Manorhamilton and the referees of every match to say so.

The 2019 version of #BraveNewWorld was revised and adapted during Across the Lines cross-border workshops with young people. Including conversations, interviews and anonymous surveys with real people, this multi-media performance is an eye-opening experience for everyone.

The Curse of the Fires and of the Shadows - 2019
In a moment the friars lay about the altar steps, their white habits stained with blood. 'Set fire to the house!' cried Sir Frederick Hamilton.
A vengeful Sidhe stalks Hamilton's men through forest and valley and through river after they massacre the White Friars of Sligo Abbey.
Supported by Creative Ireland and Sligo County Council, The Rabbit's Riot Theatre Company, the Yeats Society and students of IT Sligo present WB Yeats short story The Curse of the Fires and of the Shadows (adapted for stage by Treasa Nealon) which is based on the true story of Sir Frederick Hamilton's burning of Sligo Abbey in 1642.

The Unlikely Hero: A Christmas Story - 2019
MJ thinks he is dreaming when his toys wake him up to tell him that his little brother, Tommy (who wandered into the woods alone to look for the perfect Christmas) was kidnapped by the Fearr Dorcha and carried off to Tir na nOg. Once deep in the forest, MJ comes to realise that Tir na nOg is a very real, very magical and very dangerous place. With his unlikely companions, a magical map and a packet of marshmallows he is sent on a whirlwind adventure with talking rabbits, meddling Merrows, dancing puppets, Rat Soldiers and a captivating Fairy Queen to save his little brother and bring him home in time for Christmas.
